2020 Silverado Special Editions

Kyle-area drivers have three 2020 Special Edition Chevrolet Silverado models available to them: the Custom Rally, the RST Rally, and the LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition. Explore the details of each of these distinctive models to find your favorite.

Custom Rally

The sporty, racing-ready Custom Rally is offered with four exterior color options, including Black, Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, or Summit White. The Custom Rally also comes with unique styling elements, such as:

• Body-colored grille
• Black Rally stripes on hood and tailgate
• Black Chevrolet tailgate lettering
• Black badging
• Black Bowties, black exhaust tip(s)
• Black assist steps

The Custom Rally Edition is powered by a turbocharged 2.7L 4-cylinder L3B engine paired to an 8-speed transmission. Other features include the Custom Value Package and a spray on bedliner.

RST Rally

With the RST Rally Special Edition Chevrolet Silverado, you get the same exterior color options and styling elements that are offered on the Custom Rally. The three RST Rally engine options include:

• Turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder L3B and 8-speed automatic
• Atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 and 8-speed automatic transmission
• Atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 and 10-speed automatic transmission

You’ll also get 22-inch high gloss black wheels, the All Star Package, and the Bed Protection Package.

LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition

The off-road-ready LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition comes with:

• Black Silverado badging
• Black grille
• Black Bowtie badging
• Black bumpers
• Black exhaust tips
• Black assist steps
• High-intensity LED headlamps with dark bezels and full-curtain signature DRLs
• 18-inch black aluminum wheels (RD1) with Duratrac tires (R30)
• Optional 20-inch black aluminum wheels (RD5) with all-terrain tires (QAE)

Along with its iconic styling, the Midnight Edition Silverado can take your Kyle-area off-road experience to the next level. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 engine, which is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powerful setup generates 420 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque.

Earlier Chevrolet Silverado Special Edition Models

Centennial Edition

The Centennial Edition was available on LTZ Z71 Silverado models and featured Heritage Chevrolet bowtie logos, exclusive Centennial door badges, and a spray-in bedliner with Heritage bowties. The following additional features added to the unique style of this Special Edition pickup truck:

• Centennial Blue exterior
• Floor liners with Centennial Edition badging
• Chrome tow hooks, door handles, mirror caps, and beltline
• 22-inch premium silver-painted wheels with chrome inserts

Redline

The Redline Edition was only available on LT Z71 Double Cabs and LTZ Z71 Crew Cabs. It offered eye-catching red and black accents and featured off-road assist steps, spray-in bedliner, and red tow hooks. Other special features included:

• Body-color front/rear bumpers
• Black grille with surrounds
• Black headline trim
• Black Chevrolet bowties
• Black mirror caps
• Black Silverado badges with red outline
• 20-inch black wheels with red accents

High Desert

The High Desert edition offered a winning combination of sportiness and refinement, and was available on the LT, LTZ, and High Country trim levels. Along with a lockable, water-resistant storage unit and Magnetic Ride Control, the High Desert came with features such as:

• Lighted side storage boxes
• Three-piece removable Tonneau cover
• 20-inch wheels with all-season tires
• Available EcoTec3 6.2L V8 engine

Custom Sport HD

The Custom Sport HD was available on the Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab LT and LTZ pickups. Features such as a Black or Summit White exterior, chrome door handles, mirror caps, and bodyside molding, made this truck a real stand-out. Other unique features included:

• Body-color grille
• 20-inch polished aluminum wheels
• Spray-in bedliner
• Front and rear park assist

Realtree®

The Realtree® edition is the result of Chevrolet teaming up with the folks at Realtree®. This exclusive model sported a sleek black exterior and Realtree® graphics, as well as:

• Embroidered head restraints and camouflage accents
• Black leather upholstery
• Black off-road assist steps
• Rancho® shocks
• Enlarged Z71 badging

Special Ops

Designed in conjunction with the U.S. Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida, the Special Ops Special Edition Chevrolet Silverado featured Navy SEAL graphics, deep-tinted windows, black Chevrolet bowties, 20-inch aluminum wheels, a bed-mounted sport bar with Special Ops signature, and much more!

Alaskan

The Alaskan Special Edition Chevrolet Silverado is ideal for cold Canadian winters. Available on the 2500HD, the Alaskan edition came with a Snow Plow Prep Package, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac off-road tires, and the following:

• 18-inch black aluminum wheels
• Available 6.6L Duramax® Turbo-Diesel V8 engine
• One-of-a-kind Alaskan bear graphics on rear quarter panel and tailgate
• Smoked amber roof marker lights and beacon
• Spray-in bedliner with unique raised “Alaskan” text

Black Out

The Black Out Special Edition featured black Chevrolet bowties, black headlamp bezels, a black front grille, and dark window tinting. This edition was available on the Silverado 1500 Work Truck trims with Regular or Double Cab configurations.
